Anita Esfandiari - Buoyant Dribble

© Katharina Paquet

As part of the exhibition Buoyant Dribble, a reading and writing workshop is being offered that translating the central themes of artist Anita Esfandiari’s work—physicality, movement, repetition, and collective presence—into linguistic practice. The starting point is Esfandiari’s paintings. After a joint tour of the exhibition, we will gather perspectives on solidarity in discussion and group phases and ask when it can become a form of resistance. Participants will engage creatively with these ideas by developing short texts, miniatures, or poetic fragments that reflect on everyday gestures, care, and forms of visibility. In various writing exercises—from free writing to condensing short miniatures—participants translate these thoughts into their own texts. The workshop combines perception, exchange, and creative practice and is open to anyone aged 18 and over, with or without writing experience.

Loubna Khaddaj, born in Lebanon in 1985, is an author who studied cultural studies, education, and educational sciences in Bremen.
